Simplify resilient, energy efficient construction

Polycrete IS Cast in place concrete

Invented by the Romans over 2,000 years ago, concrete is one of the world’s most versatile construction materials. Polycrete engineers are helping to define how it’s used in the 21st century.

A Polycrete insulated concrete formed wall is no different from traditional cast in place except the forms are permanent. That saves you the time and effort of stripping forms, cleaning them, resurfacing them and humping them back and forth from the yard.

It also saves the GC/Owner from having to hire framing and insulation subs to finish the inside of the wall – sheetrock attaches directly to the Polycrete surface.

You can get Polycrete Big Block forms in widths up to 24”, so forming insulated foundations and footings is a piece of cake.

No extra or unusual engineering is needed. The structural engineer designs a Polycrete wall exactly as if it was a normal cast in place wall.

Here’s an idea: Since it’s so cost effective to form Polycrete walls, if you have some topography on the site of your wood framed slab on grade building, you may find that you can save money by making Polycrete retaining walls, move less dirt and have a more energy efficient building.
